
Michel Mollard has been producing events in the field of classical music for more than fifteen years now.
Having followed solid piano studies, having trained extensively in analysis, harmony and counterpoint with Marcel Bitsch, Grand Prix de Rome, and having made his first trip to Bayreuth at the age of thirteen, Michel Mollard is a writer, publisher and entrepreneur at heart.
As a writer, his works have focused on music, history, and China. His two plays about Romain Rolland's last evening and youth ("Dernières notes" and "Malwida") have been performed over a hundred times in Paris. His film "The Return Is the Movement of the Tao : Zhu Xiao-Mei Plays the Goldberg Variations" won an award at the Montreal International Festival of Films on Art. He is the founding president of Éditions Le Condottiere.
After beginning his career at the Treasury Department and in the banking sector, Michel Mollard headed a large international insurance group listed on the Paris stock exchange, before developing his own entrepreneurial activities.
He is a former student of the Ecole Polytechnique, of ENSTA and holds a doctorate in economic sciences.
